Finepoints CRM recognises that every organisation or agency has staff that are not really users but from time to time need information from the system. An example of this would be sales teams who either use account management software to manage their clients or are field staff. Another would be an agency that creates appointments for their clients. There are many cases but bare this paragraph in mind while we explain some of the users and their functionality.
1. Team Users
Team users are users that need access to Finepoints CRM, they have a login and you pay a fee for your team users so that they can access the system and use its powerful features.
2. Sales Team Users
OK, Sales Team users in Finepoints CRM are not really users in a sense that they don't login and heck if you want to get technical this can be used by virtually anyone, not just sales people. Here's how it works.
You can add as many of these guys to your account as you like, there is no limit and no charge for adding them. You can even add your team users here (if they sit appointments), the whole purpose of these users are to receive information for appointments.
Lets say Tim is a who goes to visit prospects in order to turn them into customers.
Tim works with Jane, her role is simply to find prospects and make appointments for Tim to go and see.
Jane is a user
Tim is a Sales Team Member.
Jane can select Tim's name whenever she converts a prospect into an appointment and Tim will receive an email containing all the information about the opportunity as a PDF attachment, a calendar invite which including the date, time and if applicable the location of the appointment.
This of course is just one small scenario, there are hundreds of use cases such as Telemarketing agencies creating appointments for their clients. The role of sales team users is specifically to be leveraged in the appointment calendar and receive information from the system without being a paid member.
